While the insert included in the game is pretty nicely done I wasn't really happy with having to use zip bags to further sort components. I am also using card sleeves and this was causing some issues with the small cards. So ultimately my goal with this organizer insert was:
For the small cards I designed some risers as the bottom part was a bit too narrow to properly fit the cards in sleeves. Cards will be put on these risers on their sides. This way almost all loot cards do fit in their designated compartments.
The leftover loot cards and all the small monster cards will be going in a tray which fits nicely below the room tiles.
The large monster cards actually fit in their designated compartments, at least when it comes to length and width though not in height. So a couple of these cards to go into another tray which also provides some storage slots for all the round tokens which do not fit along with all the other tokens.
The normal monster standees will be put into two identical trays. This already fills one of the big compartments. The other big compartment will have a tray for campaign monster standees. Below that is a tray that holds the small campaign cards.
Right next to these trays will be four more trays stacked on each other: one for the large hero cards, one for the small starting item cards, one for all the small tokens and one for the hero standees.
Last but not least, there's a tray holding all the dice next to the manuals.
