A friend needed a replacement Dryer Timer Dial Knob, so I made a lazy remix of "Washer / Dryer knob" by Klasniedryg https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:704360
The original knob size was increased, the hole lengthened and made 1% smaller. The snugness of the fit on the D-Shaft will depends on your printer and filament, so you can try various prints with minor 1% increment size changes. A 1mm base slice is provided to test the size and fit, the slice made by PrusaSlicer has a thin layer closing the top of the hole, but it should not get printed by the slicer. If you are having problems with the slice, you can you can take and use a 1mm slice off the bottom of the full part. Note that the final installed part does not go all the way deep, so don't push the tested plate all the way down.
The "Dryer Dial" by mgl1998 https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:963090 seemed like a closer match, but the D-Hole design is weak like the original. So I preferred to remix the above.
Print with at 0.4mm, 4 perimeters, 30% infill Grid should be more than strong enough. PETG or ABS would be best, but PLA will probably work also.
The dryer is a Gibson / Electrolux GEF331CCS0. The knob part numbers are KIP2210 + KIP 1185 (see photo).
