Summary

Modled after Si-Techs quick glove system. I printed these prototypes in red PLA+ and found they work just fine underwater. I will still print another set in Nylon Carbon Fiber for durability, but for now I'll see how well these hold up.

Two different sizes to choose from. My original concept was for a double gasket system, but due to my large hands the walls became too thin to accommodate. So measuring across the back of your hand if its over 3" or 80mm, go with the single gasket file. If you have hands larger than 3-1/2" or 90mm, these will not work well, if at all. Print the Dam Ring first and see if you can get your hand through it to determine best.

O-ring is Nitrile Rubber 95mm OD 88mm ID 3.5mm W available at hardwarestores or online.

Dam Ring goes inside the glove and the glove goes into the cuff ring. The dam ring is tapered and binds the glove into place. After donning you suit the gloves press into the Si-Tech quick cuff.

DO NOT LUBE THE O-RINGS. You can use talc, some wax, a little soap or even spit, but do not use any grease. I tried a very lite application of Silicone grease and they pop right off from the compression of the rings themselves. A squirt of baby shampoo and water helped them go right on and stay in place.
