I feed my dried filament from this dry box equipped with what is hopefully a universal filament spool holder that spins on 608 skate bearings. The adjustable tapered spool retainers should accommodate spools with a variety of hole sizes. The bottom Bowden fitting is plugged in the photo. When not printing the other end of the filament carrying Bowden tube is pushed into the bottom fitting to close things up. Looking through the site I see similar spool holder designs but I believe my approach is somewhat unique. At any rate, I created this assembly before I found the site so I'm not categorizing it as a rewind as I did with my first two designs. Below are some links and or descriptions to purchased parts used in the assembly. You may be able to find cheaper alternatives to the parts/quantities I purchased. However, these cereal containers are very large and accommodate the spools very well. The the location for the Bearing Housing holes in the container are centered from front to back and 4 3/4" below the very top of the container. (no lid)

Blue to Orange indicating Silica Gel Beads that turn to orange when the take in too much moisture. They then can be dried in the oven and return to blue ready for reuse. Haven't had to dry mine yet but I've only been using them for 3-4 weeks
