Summary

I designed these components for my Usmile UX2 90MM Drone Frame. Most of the Race Whoop Parts wouldn't fit natively. With that, I went ahead and designed a 16MMx16MM Reducer/Stack. This takes 20MMx20MM Flight controllers and reduces the M2/M3 screws and 16MMX16MM layout so you can use Racewhoop or other 16x16's.

The Usmile UX2 frame supports multiple orientations for mounting flight controllers, so I went ahead and adjusted the 16x16 orientation properly as to not need to be done in Betaflight.

My setup:

  • FuriousFPV Racewhoop
  • FuriousFPV Fishpepper 1s-2s 4-in-1 ESC
  • FuriousFPV Mnova 25mW/200mW VTX
  • Frsky XM+ Receiver
  • Runcam Micro Swift 2

The idea is you thread the M2x5 screws directly from the bottom into the base component. From there, you can use the spacers to add boards. Finally, using the RX PAD at the top to zip tie/hot glue the Receiver.

  • I used four M2x16 screws to tie it all together in a "Hamburger stack" type configuration.
  • The notch on the inside of the circle denotes where the USB of the flight controller should be orientated. The M3 post is 1.5MM smaller to allow for USB cable clearance.

For vibration and dampening I print all these parts in TPU. Worked great! Hopefully someone else can use this design! Good luck!
