The file 'Dremel 8220 W/ Flex Shaft Desk Mount 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 10.9MB.
Required hardware:
4x M3x18-22 bolts
4x M3 Nut
1x M3x12 or longer
1x M3 Locknut
4x mounting screw of your choice. (mounting hole is 10mm dia. countersink, so most screws will fit nicely)
NOTE:
-The "Holder" part is a tight fit, but I didn't have any issues lightly flexing it around the random bulges of the Dremel until it reached it's nesting point.
-I also put 0.15mm of space between some connecting surfaces, so that most people won't have to do any sanding or resizing.
I recently got a Dremel to make quicker work of touching up 3D printed parts. I got the 8220, and I got a Flex Shaft. Problem was, I didn't really have anywhere convenient to put the Dremel, so it awkwardly and loudly sat in my desk drawer while I used it.
NO MORE!
I can assure you that this mount is stable and secure from the 3 minutes of rigorous testing I did prior to uploading it!
I plan on making a few more Dremel things, as to what and how many... time will tell!
