The drag chain I have on my ox cnc is slightly arching, so I made this bracket to help keeping it straight. The bracket is made to fit on a vslot 2040 profile, and my drag chain is 50 mm wide.
I made two versions. One is made to sit center on a 2040. It is held in place with T-nuts in the profile, and will therefore also fit other profiles than 2040. After I printed the one in the photo, I went back and counter sunk the screw wholes.
But as I did not mount the drag chain so that it is centered on the vslot profile, I made a second version that is equally offset (I mounted the chain directly in one of the wholes that are in it). For this version I dropped the idea with the t nut, and instead the bracket is made to grab around the vslot. Therefore this bracket will only fit a 2040 profile. I kept the wholes for the screws just in case, but the bracket sits quite snug, so I will need them.
