Summary

This is a simple door opener designed to minimize contact with contaminated surfaces during the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic.

Update:
Versions with keyring holes added.
Alternate tip models added:

  • Model A: Base model with 120 degree angle
  • Model B: 14mm rectangle for bathroom/toilet locks.
  • Model C: 14mm rectangle + 4mm rectangle for thin keys

Requirements

Contactless operation of

  • Door handles
  • Faucets
  • Light switches
  • Smaller handles on cabinets etc.

Design

  • Main hook with 2.5cm diameter for pullig large handles
  • Pointed tip at the end of the hook for pulling small handles
  • Angle cutout at the tip for pushing small objects
  • Angle between hook and handle for pushing larger/heavier objects

Printed in PETG:
0.4mm nozzle, 0.2mm layer height
3 Perimeters
4 Top/Bottom solid layers (rectilinear)
40% infill (stars)
