This is a twelfth-scale pot-belly stove to furnish a dollhouse (or, in the original case, a doll's shepherding hut). The design is based upon multiple real, historical stoves in cast iron.
The design includes a door on the body of the stove, which is a separate part, designed to be attached at the hinge with wire, to allow opening and closing. The vent in the door is in the open position, so that even with the door closed a warm glow may be seen.
The bottom of the model has an aperture for a 5mm LED, recessed to make room for a power supply of the user's devising.
