Summary

We recently purchased a new lead and didn't have a dog poop bag holder for it.

I designed this one using Fusion360.

It is a simple design inspired by some of the others on Thingiverse and some commercial ones that I already had on other leads.

About the design:

BAGS

  • Designed for bag rolls that are about 32mm in diameter and 60mm in length
  • There is about 2mm tolerance on both of these dimensions

LEAD

  • Designed for leads about 25mm wide and 2mm thick
  • There is not a lot of tolerance on this
  • My lead is quite firm nylon and it seems to hold quite well; not so sure on a cotton blend lead

UPDATE:
I've added v2 design files. The changes are:

  1. Removed fillet on lid and added small knobs to allow better grip

  2. Add a "full of poop bag hook" to the main body.

It occurred to me when out walking today that it'd be a good idea to have somewhere to store the full poop bag until I could find a rubbish bin.

I've not printed v2 so the hook may/may not work!
