I wanted to mount a DMD Remote 2 on my KTM 890 adventure handlebar as close to the switchgear as possible without moving the clutch lever inboard. This is what I came up with. This bracket straddles the clutch clamp and offsets the clamp location for remote. Designed specifically for a DMD Remote 2. Keeps the clutch in the stock location. Works perfect with Wild@Heart clutch lever. Fits standard 22mm handlebars.
This bracket is available in two common clamp bolt spacing options.
The 36mm clamp uses the original back clamp that comes with the DMD remote 2.
The 31mm is actually 31.5mm spacing for an aftermarket push button switch clamp that I found on amazon.
2 M4-0.7x8mm countersink screws required to mount the remote 2 to this bracket.
Mounting hardware required for the clamp depends on what you use. I used M6x45 allen cap screws for my clamp.
Other Notes:
Requires 5mm between the switchgear and clutch clamp.
Since I am not using the oem mirror mounting location, I flipped the clamp upside down to give me more room for the remote wire. A clamp from a duke without the mirror mount would be an even better option however it should still work fine with the mirror attached.
