Had some feedback to narrow the slit (to keep the elastic in place more effectively) and to create a version that prints easier. Both modifications are uploaded along with the original part.

Saw a few of these on eBay. Decided to design a better one!
Holds the battery securely on the head strap and manages the long USB/power cable. Fits nicely against your head, you can't even feel it. Easy access to the button and snaps in/out.
As an added bonus, the counterweight keeps the strap in place a bit better and allows you to flip the goggles up onto your forehead a bit easier without them falling back down.
Print vertically so the slices are in a C-shape for the battery compartment. 20-30% infill gives it plenty of strength. You may also experiment with 3 or 4 walls but I found 2 was fine. A brim could help if your bed has a hard time with adhesion due to the relatively small contact area.
Have fun out there! Also, if you're looking to protect your gimbals on your DJI FPV controller, check out my design here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4823957
