This is a remix of Ayanev's DIYHue signe table and floor lamps design.
That design and implementation was almost perfect and the only reason I dared remix this was out of shear necessity.
You see, my printer has a max height of 9” (229 mm).
This made printing the cover and the base of the floor lamp impossible if I wanted to do so in the proper (vertical) orientation.
So I split the bodies in half.
But I also made the cover male/female to ensure a tight and perfect fit with little waste.
Adhesive is completely optional.
The LED profile supports should be super glued together.
All the other parts needed for the build are located on Ayanev's original page.
In my opinion, no post processing is needed at all!
I absolutely LOVE these lamps. Ive made several to put in different rooms.
Hope this helps make this great design accessible to more people.
