Summary

Some parts for a simple DIY Humming bird feeder. Some assembly required.
It's not completely 3D printed. But for what the non printed parts can be bought for the whole things like twenty five cents maybe.

To make it you'll need some Dollar Tree food containers (cause they're like 5 for a buck), an empty bottle, a utility knife or Exacto knife or sharp scissors, and a hot melt glue gun. Some masking tape will help too.

Print as many of the flowers as you want. I use four. But you could use as many as will fit on the lid. Or use one. The birds at my house fight over these anyway.... And one perch. I just print all 5 parts at once. Print the perch with the feet pointing up.

Take the lid and the bottle and place the bottle on the lid with the opening on the lid. Trace around the opening. The masking tape will help you write on the lid. It also helps keep the lid from cracking or accidentally getting cut to far. Once you have a nice circle, cut out the circle from the lid. I like the lid to fit up against the wide thick part of the bottle just past the threads for the cap. You can kind of see it in the close up pic. But it was hard to get a good pic of it.

Set the bottle aside for now.

Use just a little dab of glue and glue the flowers to the lid. Once the glue is set poke a hole through the lid and the middle of the flower. I use a Exacto knife as a drill from the bottom of the lid. Try not to leave any sharp edges or anything that the birdies can cut themselves on.

Use another dab of glue on each of the feet of the perch and glue it to the lid. I actually set the perch on the lid and glue the feet one by one. That way you can adjust them as you go.

Now take the bottle and put a good bead of hot glue around the wide part where the lid will fit. The place the lid on and hold it until the hot melt glue sets. Give it a good minute or two. You really want a good bond here.

That's really it basically.

I have taken string or twine and made hangers to hang them. But usually I just set them on the railing of my porch.

EDIT: I made a different perch that sticks straight out instead of up. I think I like it better. It's perch2.stl. The yellow one in the pics.
