The file 'DIY Filament Vacuum Bag 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 1.8MB.
This is a remix of 310Blacksmiths Vavle for creating a sealable filament bag. I made the boss vavle top part shorter so you can screw on the cap i created for better sealing because i found that no matter how hard you tighten the boss valve it still lets air out/in.
Print everything in PLA or ABS.. doesnt really matter/ However if you want better sealing i would print the little valve insert in TPU or try to fit a rubber sealing gasket inside.
I included the original files, my addon files are under Vacuum_Vavle_Edit
Use a really thick Zip Lock Bag that seals very well.. Thicker the better
Cut a hole where you want the valve. (you can also use a little rubber gasket between the 2 parts sealing the bag or a tpu printed gasket.
It does loosen up a little bit but i think it was because of the type of cheap zip lock bag i was using rather then the valve itself
This is by far one of the best DIY Valves for creating a filament storage bag that ive seen/tried, so Kudos to 310Blacksmith
