The file 'DIY D20 – Resin Casting Kit 3D Printer Model' is (STL) file type, size is 5.0MB.
DIY Mould for making your own D20 Countdown dice (For Magic the Gathering or similar).
Kit includes a three-part mould box and D20 model with pouring spout for creating a silicone mould.
This was my first attempt as casting anything in resin!
I wanted all parts of this kit to be simple and re-usable, using 3D printed models as the 'master' for the mould. The mould box could definitely be re-purposed for other mould/ dice designs!
PLEASE NOTE:
I recommend printing the D20 model in the highest resolution possible.
The quality and resolution of your master model will represent the quality of your final cast parts!
I also definitely recommend using a pipette for filling the mould cavity with resin.
The mould could be gravity filled if the stream is thin enough, but the pipettes make life a bit easier. The mould cavity takes ~10-15ml of resin to fill (So really not a lot!)
