Summary

What's it For?

A little stand to display cameras in multiple rows so each one gets the attention it deserves! Every camera is a work of art in it's own right, so why not prop up those in the back and let them be noticed!

How Big is It?

The stand is 7cm tall by 8cm wide and 8cm deep. This will hold most handheld still cameras as long as they have a tripod mount on the bottom.

What's With the Holes in the Top?

I'm glad you asked! The holes are so you can screw a regular tripod mounting screw into the bottom of the camera to connect it securely to the stand. They're sized for ¼" mounting screws as that's what the majority of handheld still cameras have (I only have one that has a different size). I used these screws from Amazon but any ¼" replacement tripod mounting screw should work.

The Details

  • Five mounting holes as (who knew?) many older cameras don't have the threaded tripod mount in the middle. Many are off to the side or towards the back of the camera.

  • Why is it printed on it's side instead of top down? This orientation resulted in the cleanest curves on the rounded edges along the top without the need for supports. The holes might sag slightly but not enough to cause any issues.

Other Parts

Just the tripod mounting screws mentioned above. Technically they're not required but if you value your camera, it will make it a bit more stable.

Anyway, I hope someone finds them useful!
