Are you worried your dinos will rampage through the box eating all the patrons while it is on the shelf (of course they can have all the hooligans they want, but patrons, come on!)? Worry no more - with this set of trays and boxes for storing all the Dinosaur Island pieces with room to spare. Your dinos, patrons, cash, and everything else will keep their place in your box.
While this was designed for the Deluxe version, the regular version should fit as well.
Here are some highlights for this design:
Some of the boxes are a bit oversized, but that just leaves room for growth and helps to ensure everything stays in it's place when the game box is tipped on it's side or transported. In fact, the dino cage not only stores all your dinos, but is even big enough to hold a first player token, like say, a 150% scaling of the MakerBot Pocket T-Rex Skull shown in the pictures. None of the boxes have lids. This set generally depends on the closed box to keep everything from mixing around.
Most pieces are custom designed with the exception of the card holders (and the MakerBot Pocket T-Rex skull):
Cards - 60 count - base - ICT
Cards - 60 count - lid - ICT
These are customized versions of Interlocking Card Tray - v2 by SpoonUnit. They are sized to hold sleeved cards (66.3mm x 93.75mm x 0.54mm). If your sleeved cards are different dimensions, grab SpoonUnit's file and customize to your sizes. You'll need two sets to hold all the cards. FYI - I sized each of these to hold 60 cards, which is more than is needed. Basically just combine one large stack and one small stack into each tray.
Enjoy. I printed these on a combination of my DBot and my Original Prusa i3 MK1.
2018-01-05 - Update
A full set consists of the following:
Plus the T-Rex skull if you want to use it as a first player marker.
Update 2018 12 04 - I've uploaded two new versions of the following:
One last note, I've printed the Dino Cash, Patrons, and Player trays all with 4 outer shells and 0% infill. The shells give the scalloped bottoms enough substance that they don't need infill to support them.
