The file 'Dino-Hunt Fossil Digging Game 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 6.0 MB.
Disclaimer: This was designed in 2012, before I had the extensive experience with 3D printing that I have now. It has some design flaws, but still completely doable and functional.
I may update/optimize/re-do it some day.
Unearth amazing fossils and become a paleontologist with Dino-Hunt fossil digging game kit!
• Use mud, dough or clay to bury the fossils, let it dry and dig up!
• Replay anytime, unlike common fossil digging games that are one-offs
• No complicated mechanisms or assembly
For ages 4+
NOTES: The "rock" mold is obviously complicated to print, and it is NOT necessary to use. Any bowl, bucket or tupperware container will serve the purpose. Simply bury the bones in the mix of your choice using whatever container at hand, or even directly into a sandbox, beach or ground.
The digging tools (chisel and mallet) are also NOT required to be 3D printed. You can use any real tools, toy tools, brushes, old cutlery, or just plain hands.
