Summary

I very much liked the Hesine Prusa i3 Fan Duct Upgrade, especially the outlets, on
http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1183788
but it didn't fit on my Hesine Prusa i3.
I also liked the Diamond Hotend Blower Fan Mount with added LED Ring support,
http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:911229
although I did find the reflection on the glass bed a bit too much.

Then I got a diamond hot end.
So I tried to design (partly imitate) a combination of the two, from the bottom up, in FreeCAD and this is the first result.

I printed it in PLA with PVA as supporting matierial, the first one that succeeded a bit with my diamond. Now I am waiting for some other stuff to be able to really try it out.

Already I found that the light reflection, now on the top of this thing, is still a bit too much, so I reckon that I will make some sort of collar on top, possibly only on the front side, where it matters most.
And indeed I have added a design with collar (see the last pictures) plus it's .stl file, but be warned: it is untried. As soon as my printer is functional again, I'll try and print it and show it.

Followup:
For the time being none of the above, I am sorry to say.
I gave up for now on the diamond hot end, because of the constant clogging of the tubes within the heatsinks with different PLA filaments, cleaning filament and whatnot.
Undoubtedly my fault, but after many many hours of declogging, I don't know what to do any more.
So now I am unable to print the 2nd version, which also needs printing with support from a soluble filament, I am sure, or to do the promised try outs.
No progress on this work, alas.
