Due to the fact that I use Dewalt cordless tools, I have created an adapter to use a Dewalt 20v Lithium Ion Battery with my 18v RYOBI One+ hedge trimmer
*** Updated 18V Top STL To Version 3 - 4-21-2018
Re-worked the 18V Ryobi tool top STL, I moved the position of the contacts for the Ryobi tool up, as I found that the connection was just low enough to sometimes not make contact.
I also adjusted the inside walls of the part to make it somewhat thinner, hopefully it will make it easier to assemble.
*** Major Update Updated To Version 2 - 3-23-2018 (ALL STL's Modified)
Based on some of the feedback from here, and my own experience I have (finally) made some changes to this adapter. Changes are as follows:
*All three files have changed somewhat, I do not believe that any of the old ones can be used, however I have not tested this.
Thank you for all the feedback and the tips that you have given for this part, It is greatly appreciated.
DISCLAIMER/WARNING - Use at your own Risk. it can be Dangerous to over discharge Lithium batteries. -Risk of Fire or Explosion-
The 20V Tools that use this type of Lithium battery have the battery protection circuitry inside the tools, not the battery, and as such the user of this adapter must be careful not to over discharge the battery.
