I designed this cover to go over the power-point (GPO) located low and next to the toilet cistern in my ensuite bathroom.

I like to clean this area liberally with water so I purchased an IP53 rated weatherproof GPO intending to fit it in place of the existing Bunnings Deta brand GPO. The only problem was that the weatherproof GPO was large, ugly and off-white which did not go with the stark white bathroom. I couldn't find anything white that was suitable so I decided to go this route.

I have created a shroud that press fits over any Deta brand power outlet or switch. It is 13mm high so it will seat flush with any small stand-off fitting to look as natural as possible. It will fit on slimline fittings as well.

The shroud isn't meant to be weatherproof, just splash-resistant. It will divert water around the switch/outlet and keep the switch mechanism and plug/outlet holes dry. I have placed a small channel in the base of the shroud so that you can run a bead of silicone on it to provide a waterproof barrier between the wall and the outlet.

There are two files, one with a recess on the shroud to allow for a long plug stem and one without the hole.

It's not perfect but it will do the job. I welcome people to remix it to be prettier or function better.

Print time: 6 hours on an Ender 3.

Supports not necessary but will make the print look nicer.

If fitting it to an outside plug, use a UV stable material or you will need to replace it every
couple of years.
