Summary

This is a desktop water fountain I made after being inspired by PrinterJay's, Table Fountain. I wanted a fountain that would spin so I started making my own. I borrowed the basic design idea and the waterslides from his design. (Check out his design!). Other than the waterslides, the rest of it was made from scratch.

Note: When turning it on or off, a little bit of water can (most likely will) spill over the side on both models. To prevent this the outside walls of the Cup Top files can be raised.

Normal Size: 104mm x 104mm x ~190mm
Large Size:167.5mm x 167.5mm x ~265mm

I use a different pump than his because the one he's listed isn't sold in the US. Here is the one I use:

Check out the print settings and post-print sections to make this. You will also need superglue (I used CA glue), a standard skateboard bearing (8mm core, 22mm X 7mm), and hot glue or similar to plug a hole - see post-print section.

I made mine in PLA plastic but had to use a lot of glue to make the prints watertight. Something that might help is to print in ABS plastic and then acetone vapor treat the parts to seal the prints. I have not tried this.

Update: If a lot of water is spilling out, try increasing the flow rate of the water pump by one or two notches.
