My husband and I were looking for a desk-top shelf for his various electronic devices to declutter the workspace but found nothing that suited his specific needs. So I decided to design and manufacture a custom modular shelving solution using Fusion 360 and my Prusa MK3s.
Due to the printer's size restriction I printed each level in interlocking halves and stuck them together with super glue. The different levels are modular and interlock together with magnets for additional stability.
One of the levels is open on the one side to accommodate for a larger device leaving room for easy access to controls in the front or alternatively ports and wires at the back.
On the bottom level's feet I attached adhesive bumpers so the shelf wouldn't slip around on a smooth surface.
