The design performs the functions of a typical desk organizer, but with the additional feature of magazine holders on the sides. The design features two drawers, two compartments for pencils, pens, scissors and one open compartment for larger objects such as phones,keys, & glasses. Additionally there are two holes to allow a cable for charging a phone.
The unique features of this design are the magazine holders that expand out of the sides of the organizer. When the holders are not in use, the ends of the holders slide into the side of the main body of the organizer. When one or both are used, the end of the holder is pulled out to the desired distance between 0-17.5 cm (6.89 in). The files, magazines,or loose paper can be placed in the organizers.
The design works through the rails attached to the holder ends that track underneath the bottom of the organizer body. The rails are interlaced to allow the holder ends to easily slide to the sides of the organizer when not in use.
