Summary

This is a model of the Delta 4 Heavy that I made. Stands almost a foot tall. The model will stand on its own once put together, but I also made a simulated launch pad with mounts to help keep it steady. The second stage easily slides out and is really only held in place by gravity.
I did a little spray paint job on the model just for kicks!

The model does require a little bit of supports. Print vertically, which ever end does not matter. I printed mine with engines and nose cone up.I printed mine using
0.2mm layer height
20% infill
But I think this model will do just fine with a thicker layer height or less infill

The mounts on the launch pad are a bit fragile and break easily, so be careful once printed.

Assembly instructions -
1) Print 3 engine sections, 2 booster tops, 1 core top, 1 second stage, and 4 longerons.
2) The engines should fit snug to the core and booster tops. I did not have to use any glue
3) Lay the boosters and core together on a flat surface. GLUE or WELD the longerons to the model. They do not clip on, so additional adhesive is required.
4) As mentioned above, the model should stand on its own from here (including the 2nd stage). But you can print off the launch pad for added stability
