I took the antlers from spuzzle's published Thing here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:4865295, greatly enlarged it, added a few things, and turned it into a sturdy gun rack for my rifles at my cabin.
I have not done a weight test on them yet, to see how much weight they can hold; however, they're pretty hefty. They have no problem holding an AR-10 and should be able to support a larger rifle, using two of the antlers of course, without any issues.
I printed this with a 30% and 50% infil - both seem very capable of holding my rifles. Recommend higher infil percentage if you plan to hang a .50 cal or some other elephant gun from these things.
One antler can be used as a coat rack, extension cord hook, or basically a generic hook for anything, within a reasonable weight, that requires being held by a 3D printed deer antler (lol).
I've successfully printed a few of these now without any need for support during printing.
No, the Leatherman Wave does not print out with the antlers - it was used to give a general idea of how large the antler hooks are (scale).
