Summary

This Rocket is designed to carry the payload of an egg and calculate it's own max height. Fits a C-class engine. Uses an ADXL 345 accelerometer ran by an arduino pro mini and a 3.7V RC car battery to measure it's own height. Accelerometer records steadily in Z axis only because it sits inside the gimbal. Sand paper on tip is to reduce the drag coefficient (see related photo). The egg added a little too much weight to the tip. Once it was removed it flew like a beauty.
