Summary

If you are anything like me, you have pulled this gem off of your shelf excited for a night of friendly zombie killing, narrow survival, and betrayal only to pull off the lid, and decide it isn't worth it. Nothing ruins a frigid zombie apocalypse like dull administrative tasks. Sifting through tokens to separate them and turning one massive card deck into a bunch of little card decks can really take the joy out of rekilling the living dead. This game has no organization for 7 different card decks, 5 distinct sets of tokens, loads of dice, miscellaneous administrative markers, and stand ups for both zombies and survivors that, when mixed, become a setup game I like to call spot the rot, as you examine each stand up one by one to place it in either pile "Survivors" or pile "Zombies".

Well, no more. With this organizer, you can simply pop the top off the box, pull out the individual trays, and jump right in. Each distinct card type, token type, and stand up type is separated into its own distinct stackable interlocking tray designed for quick setup, ease of use, and effortless cleanup.

Calm down, Brad! After printing this set out, here's what's going to be in your box:
4 card trays

  • Stackable with interlocking edges so that cards don't shift and slide out in transit
  • Thumb cutouts so that you can easily pull cards off the bottom of the tray without that embarrassing clawing routine your friends always laugh at you for
  • Sexy inlays that indicate which cards go in which trays

6 token trays

  • Stackable with interlocking edges so that tokens don't shift and slide out in transit
  • Slope up the side of each tray so that your groping man paws can actually slide the tokens out
  • Sexy inlays that indicate which tokens go in which trays

2 standup trays

  • Sexy inlays that indicate which stand ups go in which trays

7 Lids

  • cap the trays in the boxes so that tokens, cards, and standups don't shift and slide out in transit
  • raised portion to gently cradle the board, reference cards, rules, and location cards
  • thumb indent so that you can actually get these things out when you need them

I sincerely hope you enjoy this print. For me, it has helped Dead of Winter get the table time it so richly deserves.
