"De Dion was" a French car Manufacturer that decided to build some trains in 20's to 40's.
Different regions of France used differents railcars. It looked like buses from witch it was inspired.
Usually used on narrow metric track. This model is realised for O narrow scale perhaps can be a bit reduced to fit to On30. Anyway it runs on Ho tracks.
Here you find two types of what I call the nose (engine compartment ).
As it is, It is a dummy model train ( you need 2 HO axles.
I designed some parts to fit a mecanic from a cheap Lima production (picture) and for other productions for my own use. The files posted are for a dummy version.
My De Dion is the size of Magic Train from Fleischmann. Of course real vehicules were were longer sized.
The Square nose is similar to " Le Petit Anjou", the other from Aude county.
