Summary

A 3 part enclosure for LM2596 DC-DC converter series.

The LD2596 module's main task is to provide a lower voltage for a secondary circuit. For example from a 3D printer main power supply, from the 12-24vDC main power to the 5.3vDC required by a RaspberryPi. The LM2596 module is also usefull for temporary bread board alike circuits with its fast and easy monitored setup. It can be usefull too in a fixed setup to monitor input/output power voltage.

Features :

  • Hole to access the variable resistor for easy setup
  • Push button to aleternate In-Out voltage display
  • Pass-through cable management (up to 3mm diameter cables)
  • Holes for pannel/wall mount

Required hardware :

  • 2x DIN912 M3x6mm screws (or Hex-Socket plastic thread) to hold the board on the base
  • 2x M3x4x4mm Bronze inserts in the base to fix the cover
  • 2x DIN 912 M3*12 screws to fix the cover in place
  • 4x DIN 125 washers for DIN912 screws (preferabily nylon ones)
  • 2x 3x6mm screws or longer to fix the enclosur on any surface (optional)
  • 4x Metal ferrules to protect wire connexions
