The file 'D12 Eater Rocket 3D Printer Model' is (stl) file type, size is 213.4KB.
Edit: added a base with a longer motor tube for E9/E12 capable flights.
This was whipped up to eat recently recalled (Summer 2024) D12 motors from Estes without fear of destroying a good rocket. This was meant to print relatively quickly; and I've used draft modes/.28 layer height and they still look good and are strong.
No supports needed.
Add a thrust ring to the motor with tape or glue in a front motor block with epoxy. Friction fit the motor with masking tape.
May need a touch of nose weight. Clip something to the ring in the nosecone or epoxy in something in the tip.
Includes a short and long nose cone.
I've printed these in PETG and flown them on Estes D12s and AT/Quest Q-Jet E26s. They fly nicely.
