Summary

Updated 7/10/2018 - Added a rotated version for printing in a different direction.

This is a replacement basepad/baseplate for factory CZ 75 18 round 9mm magazines. Use these to give your magazines +1 additional capacity, to bring your total round count to 19 in the magazine. You can also use these as a quick identification method by printing your basepads in unique colors.

This extension MUST be used with the Mec-Gar Optimum metal retaining plate which is sold separately. This magazine extension WILL NOT function without the Mec-Gar metal floor plate. This extension is compatible with the stock spring and follower, the Mec-Gar spring and follower, Wolff magazine springs, or any combination of springs and followers. Other springs and followers made for the CZ 75 magazines are likely to work as well, but function has not been verified so please test them before use.

Depending on many different factors, you may be able to stuff an additional round into the magazine, effectively making this a +2 extension. Loading your magazine with more than 19 rounds may negatively impact proper function of the firearm by having too much tension in the magazine. It is recommended to only load your magazines with 19 rounds for the most reliable function.

Durability has not been tested, though I would assume that they will not hold up as well as the stock basepads. Treat them well by not dropping them on hard surfaces to maximize useful lifetime.

Personal prints were made with high strength PLA. Use of a high strength filament with high dimensional stability/low shrink factor is recommended.
