CZ 515 - Extended Lever Release

I've designed an extended lever release for my CZ 515 Tactical.
Now I can cycle the action with my thumb - without changing my grip at all and keeping my sights on the target!

I've designed both Left Hand (goes on the right side) and Right Hand (goes on the left side) extended levers.

I printed my new lever in eSun PA6-CF (carbon filled nylon). PLA+ will work too, just won't hold up as long if left in a hot car etc.

I've also designed the lever to have a 1mm thick steel plate fabricated and epoxied into the under side of the lever. There are respective jigs to assist - pretty easy to make with simple hand tools/files etc.

I tried a design with no steel reinforcement - the lever was fairly strong, but the lever pin stripped the hole pretty quickly, making it useless!

The change over is pretty simple:

• Disassemble, as per usual maintenance (separate upper from lower)

• Remove cap head hex screw using allen key (screw goes all the way through the pin)

• Using pin punch or similar, gently punch out lever pin, but follow punch through hole to keep internals in place
• Using needle nose pliers, CAREFULLY loosen and remove inner nut (looks like a washer, but its threaded)
  Note: Mine had some Loctite or similar keeping secured too
• Remove factory lever from pin.
• Slide lever pin into new extended lever
• Screw inner nut back on (very fiddly to get back on)
  Note: Test fit everything first - then consider a drop of Loctite to secure everything again)
• Slide lever pin back through the hole, chasing the pin punch that is still keeping the internals aligned and in place.
• Replace silver cap head hex screw.
