Summary

I wanted to print a cute jack-o-lantern but couldn't find any, so I made my own version!

The short version is the original height from the Makies model, and I made a taller one in addition.

Both lid versions work with both the short and tall jack-o-lanterns, and there was no problem adding a tealight inside either pumpkin with the lid on. They've also been modified very slightly to be a bit plumper.

The snug lid version snaps onto the pumpkin. It's just tight enough that initially when you try the lid on, it'll seem like it's too tight and would stay stuck. But if you keep taking the lid on and off a few times, it somewhat loosens and the tightness becomes just snug enough to stay locked onto the pumpkin, but doesn't feel too tight to remove. I also included a version where the lid just sits on top of the pumpkin.

Edit 2023.10.13: @wolfchris21 mentioned that the snug lid was too snug for them, so I added a version that is just slightly less snug (stem will still fit). If anyone decides to compare versions, let me know what works best for you! :)

If you printed the most snug version of the lid and snapping it on/off the pumpkin opening a few times still doesn't loosen the fit, then just take piece of sandpaper (maybe anywhere around 300-800 grit), sand-swipe once or twice around the inner rim of the pumpkin body's opening, and that should be just enough.

The lid originally had an overhang and I had to add supports, so I modified it so that there are no overhangs anymore, so no supports are necessary. Only the stem requires supports.

Edit 2023.10.18: If you're having trouble adding supports to the stem in your slicer, you can try out @blahblah96 's remix of the stem with pre-added supports! You can find it here: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:6267539

I removed the logo on the bottom because it was causing trouble for my prints. I also fleshed out the bottom on the inside so that it's flat instead of the circle carved out in the original.

The LED tealight I used can be found here: https://www.target.com/p/24ct-twist-flame-led-tealight-candles-white-room-essentials-8482/-/A-79474735

But if you can't access that link or get that same one, the tealight I used measures at 1.5 Inches (H) x 1.42 Inches (W) x 1.42 Inches (D).

Let me know what you think! Enjoy and happy halloween! :)
