This is my version of the obligatory vase creation script every OpenSCAD 3D-printing junkie writes at some point. The result can be not only a vase, but a dish, bowl, cup, pen holder, vessel of any kind, or any general purpose trinket container. In fact, if you print it in PLA, you can further improve it’s appearance by dying it using yarn or food coloring.
The actual script is fairly simple, yet quite capable. The variation possibilities are vast. Base and top diameters, height, cross section sides and twist angle are all configurable, so dig in and have fun.
Happy Holidays to everyone ;-)
