I liked xifle's original tumbler tag concept - I've played around with different ways to mark glasses in the past and this seems like a great solution. But I don't have a lot of colors of filament handy. So, why not emboss a symbol of some kind onto the tags as well? With four colors and four types (three symbols + blank), you can keep track of 17 glasses, which is more than I own.
This thing gives you a few pre-made symbols (peace sign, yin-yang, and heart) in two sizes that work well for me with thin and thick tumblers, respectively. You can use those as is, or use the Customizer to upload your own image and make a new symbol.
