These different sized boxes can be used to store components for your projects. To save space, they can be stacked, even different sizes can be stacked on top of one another! The use of Vase Mode will ensure a quick print with great surface quality, even on a cheap printer.
The project boxes are available in a variety of different sizes and can be customized by editing the width, length and height parameters of the Fusion360 project.
You can find the Fusion360 project here: https://a360.co/3brQ2A1
Currently, there are three base sizes available in two heights each. See the customization section below for how to create your own sizes.
When stacking, boxes of the same base size stack best and can be stacked effectively infinitely. Also, two boxes that are one size smaller (e.g. 2x S on one M) also stack decently, though they cannot hold as much weight before bending in. It is not possible to (securely) stack a larger box on several smaller boxes.
The M size is best for storing components that are relatively large, like small PCBs and breakout boards. The S size is best for storing components for a project, screws and other small hardware. The XS size is particularly useful for storing components of a project for a longer time, since it is not as accessible as the other sizes but has a smaller footprint.
I personally use these boxes for temporarily storing all components of a project while assembling prototypes. I have also used them to keep all screws and other small bits of hardware together when working on my printer.
