Every laptop user has to admit - laptops are far behind desktop computers in terms of comfort of use. This fact was the direct reason of designing this stand. It provides a decent level of stability - the center of mass of most laptops is located at the rear. The stand does not take a place in front of a laptop, so you can place your keyboard in a convenient position.
Uploaded STLs correspond to the 9 cm stand - in my case such a height appears to be comfortable enough. Feel free to modify it, as well as other model parameters - more details can be found in the included OpenSCAD project.
The design is portable, i.e. you can place a slimmer leg inside a more massive one, in a fashion similar to matryoshka.
