The file 'Customizable Flexible Toy Train Tracks 3D Printer Model' is (scad, stl) file type, size is 26.5KB.
When I saw romanjurt's Brio Flex Railtracks I immediately knew I wanted to make a customizable version of them.
A great example of how 3D printing can give new powers to an existing design, especially when used to add an attribute that is difficult to design for with traditional manufacturing, such as flexibility.
I'd like to thank mathgrrl for challenging me to get more active on thingiverse by releasing a design a week.
In the coming weeks, you can expect more customizers and most likely some of my wackier experiments that I've never been quite ready to release.
Check out mathgrrl's entry for this week and let us know what you think in the comments!
edit: thanks to Martin-RepRapMe I just fixed a bug that was causing the height of the base of the track to be a bit shorter than it should have been. Thanks for the bug report!
