Fidget spinners are all the rage! I noticed however, that all of the existing fidget spinners are designed only for very specific sizes of bearings, so I decided to create one with customizability in mind. Use the customizer to put in specifications for the bearings you want to use, the number of legs of the spinner, and how long the legs are!
To create your very own fidget spinner, simply click on the Open in Customizer button above, adjust the parameters to fit the bearings you have at hand, as well as a handful of other bits, then generate your STL, print, and post pictures! I'd love to see other people's fidget spinners using a variety of bearing sizes! All of the parameter measurements are in millimeters.
Look for updates in the near future that will include better cutout/finger groove generation, compatibility with different height bearings, and maybe some grip or ninja star-like points for added aesthetics! Feel free to comment for other suggestions or compatibilities that you desire.
Update 2016-11-12 - Added a couple of manual adjustments to the 'cutouts',.. I've been trying to find a good way to automatically generate a nice little cutout between the bearings, but I don't think there's an easy universal way of doing it. I need to delve into using a curve rather than just using cylinders.
