UPDATE: I added a string parser that accepts fractions, decimals, or integers for a size, and allows you to specify units (if you don't specify a unit, it guesses based on the value passed in -- so 3/8 would default to inches, but 4.5 would default to mm). The label is now based off the inputted size.
This is a drill stop to controlling how deep a drill hole goes. I attached models for some common imperial sizes, but if you need another size, you can use the customizer to generate it.
You need 6-32 or M4 bolts to fasten these (at least 3/8 or 10mm long). You don't need a nut -- the bolt should be able to self-tap itself.
If you have any issues, you can always drill the screw hole with a 9/32" bit and use a nut. In this case, the nut measurement should be the height of the nut, if stood up on it's side (it isn't the corner-corner measurement).
The fit is quite tight -- you can actually use the drill to smooth out the inside if it's too tight. (note: I updated the scad file to add a .2mm play, but the prebuilt models don't have this) I did chamfer the bottom to prevent bottom layer overprint issues.
To make the label more visible, you can switch filaments at the 10.6mm mark. I used 100% infill, with PLA. It worked well for my purposes, though ABS might be better options, due to their higher heat tolerance if you plan on drilling lots of holes. (UPDATE: I did some heat tests and PETG really doesn't do well in high heat, so don't use it...)
