The file 'Customizable Dowel Rod Shelf 3D Printer Model' is (scad, zip, stl) file type, size is 371.5KB.
An easy, non-invasive light-weight shelf to put inside a window frame.
The uploaded STLs can be used with four 3/8in dowel rods. (which set me back $6.05 so easily the cheapest shelf i've ever installed)
NOTE: still working on getting the thread settings right to find the sweet spot of print-ability and strength
EDIT: finally found something that works pretty well, turns out it's very important to print the threaded rod piece at 100% infill. That piece has to be strong enough that you can drive it into the end cap with plyers without breaking it. I've found that after I used plyers to tighten them together all the way once or twice, they were broken in enough that I could work them pretty easily work them with my fingers, but they weren't so loose that they wouldn't be strong enough to put pressure on the wall to hold up the shelf.
This customizer takes a while to compile especially if you adjust the resolution to a higher value. The uploaded stls are made with a resolution of 50 which i find is much better than 24, but takes much longer to compile. I've provided a zip of openscad files that provide each individual piece so you can adjust each part as needed.
