It clips onto the front passenger seat headrest, and the phone just slides into the holder, from the side, and is held in place with tension.
Customize the width of the holder, by opening the Fusion 360 file (.f3d), and going into "Modify", "Change Parameters", and entering in your phone's width. The default is 65 mm, and fits an iPhone 6/7 without a cover.
Assembly is easy, just slide the hook and links onto the base, and screw on the knop.
