Summary

I made a custom labeled metal hard case for carrying McDonalds sauces. For when you are at a classy dinner party and don't want to just pull sauce out of your pocket for your filet mignon.

I shared a few pictures of this on Imgur (https://imgur.com/gallery/1WfyZf1), reddit (https://www.reddit.com/r/3Dprinting/comments/lqdd4n/i_made_a_custom_labeled_metal_hard_case_for/), and facebook (https://www.facebook.com/groups/ender3ender3procreality/permalink/3226467804123486/) and got a lot of requests for files or straight purchases. I am not comfortable sharing the exact files I used or selling this product because I don't want to fight any legal battles with McDonalds.

Instead, here I will provide some logo-free STL files which you can modify as you wish. I'll include some instructions too in case you are new to it. I'm happy to provide these free of charge.

The outer metallic shell with magnetic latch I bought from amazon as a glasses case. You can find it here for under $10: https://l.facebook.com/l.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.amazon.com%2Fgp%2Fproduct%2FB0899WHWD3%2Fref%3Dppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00%3Fie%3DUTF8%26psc%3D1%26fbclid%3DIwAR0Y2q2dzJ-pZqVA_LK2_b1Yfe25NLsu2ypxvCltJztONfSW3BM8__w2Pps&h=AT1qdB0P-g3qbtLSy26VwW2ys8Ka5YRfhDctPDb5WdsOf41o-FHV4C23gTA7m4HENvPivXucV5wrrUrmAPPfKJUcMML-oZRfSw8-i2R9M6OgtY_QcrXLb4_XK-k0PuXC&__tn__=R]-R&c[0]=AT1YD3QV_4YU2KV5qBFbuvHS5I_Wmzxm_0yLslBkJQ5bLDhK3yz0RDz87vmYT4JMgLLyZMAPmQmbUjV68zaU7ZJfbkl_m9kkYVdR1ujO_NC774CKKarC8uTkB1pLmQb9uOdlRXbrkpjvwRc858PRmyv5eqQB5-Bw6JOxSkCS92mfBBl0MxvSkGrFJfMWSOp8Elg6AC1z3AsN3U5j4A

The M logo on the outside I made by downloading a vector graphic of the logo, importing that into Fusion 360, extruding it, and then shaving some curvature on one side to match the curvature of the case. Here is a tutorial on how to deal with vector graphics in Fusion: https://youtu.be/DETMYzpWTEw

The insert inside I made to fit McDonalds sauce packs. There is a lip on one edge so that the packets fit snuggly and sort of snap into place. Note that when installing the insert, it should not be pushed all the way to the back. I suggest putting a sauce pack in there while deciding exactly how far to push it back. In my design I also put an M logo on the insert, again the tutorial video above will help you do that if you want.

For glue I highly recommend Crafter's Pick Ultimate. It's like jewelry grade glue. Very strong, dries clear. It does take a little time to cure though - I'd give it a couple hours with some pressure applied just to be safe.

Enjoy! Let me know if you end up making some of these. I'm glad y'all liked it. If you'd like to buy me a coffee, link here: https://paypal.me/tomstockman1
