This wand is based on one from the Pottermore quiz. I made a few tweaks to the measurements and overall design.
I made a video (https://youtu.be/vcb8WpLm-zo) following the build.
The three pieces have a small channel running down their center. I used the channel, along with a paper clip, to center the different pieces when gluing them together. I also used it to improvise a drying rack to help with the painting. The channel was extremely helpful and easy to plug up and paint over when I was done.
