The file 'Custom Carbon Fiber Quadcopter Frame _ R-Fly 3D Printer Model' is (stl, sfk) file type, size is 2.0MB.
Hello everyone! Im finaly uploading my quadcopter frame stl files after so many requests! Im uploading for free so you can share with me your experiences with your own builds, and some improvements you may have made to it!
Here is the building process video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cMusBnFvW2A
The model itself is not a finished product. I designed it to be printed as thin as possible ( only 2 shells), so it can stay together with the carbon fiber as an internal skeleton without adding too much weight, and to get rid of the demolding process. After 2 layers of carbon fiber this thing got realy strong !!! But of course you can try to make a 3d printed (only) version! i recomend 5 shells for that and no infill at all!
Please notice that you are going to need i little extra time with a drilling machine like Dremel on this. And a powerfull fast glue too like zap a gap or locktide do put body parts and arms toghether. Small holes on the inside part of the arms are needed to pass the wires too. I allso glued the landing gear to the body.
I also drilled the upper cover out, and laminated it separatly, so a have acces to all the electronics.
Onde this is not a finished project, dont forget your sense of adventure! Hope you enjoy the model!
Dont be afraid to ask any questions!
