I have learned lots about stress on square joints since my first carrier design. (No broken jars, thankfully! :)
This remix uses curved corners so that there is no "joint" where the handle can pull apart. Also the base is shaped better for the jars (which are not circles but are heavily rounded squares).
You can further distribute the downward force by adding zip ties between the holes in the handle and the divider in the base. The black bar is optional but keeps the handle from squeezing inward if you use a softer/stretchier material.
BONUS: The opening in the handle fits 2 stacked plastic lids (for drying).
Print in PETG if the carrier will spend long hours outside or in a hot car.
Tolerance is 0.25 for to allow in variation among filament brands.
June 2024 : Added a second base that has more protection for the bottom of the jar. Also added a blockier spacer because the cuter one is prone to breakage.
