This is a small storage box in the form of a cupcake. I used it as a gift box and put some coins inside.
All parts can be printed separately and without support.
Instructions:
The cherry and the icing have a hole so you can connect them through a small piece of filament (about 4 cm length). If the holes are to small use a drill to make them wider, but they should be big enough to fit 1,75 mm filament through.
To get extra sure use superglue to glue the cherry on top. If the filament string does not fit completely though the cherry use 2 filament pieces, one for connecting the cherry on top and one for the cherry stem.
I used brown filament, but I guess green or red would be more fitting for the stem.
Why the remix?
Well the idea of the original was good, but I just did not like how the icing was connected to the cup, so I modified it.
I also changed the size of the cherry to a more realistic size and replaced the stem with simply a hole to put the filament into it. Otherwise it would be very fragile as it is nearly impossible to print the stem cleanly.
Have fun and be creative with the colors :) I really would like to see some makes and get some feedback.
