I remixed an existing design to remove unneeded material to greatly reduce it's weight (and therefore, cost). I ended up using this on my motorcycle. I added drainage holes, as the old design would collect water if it was out in the rain. On the top edge, there are three small bumps that can be used to hold a hose clamp in place. The hose clamp provides extra strength for the cup holder adaptors that clamp into the cupholder by expanding outwards.
